Watch out

Do not try to remove the door hinges from the chassis — they stay. Wear gloves: the raw fiberglass edges along the body openings can splinter into bare skin.

First, take the doors off. Loosen the bolts that attach each door to its hinge — the hinge itself stays bolted to the chassis; only the door panel comes free. Snip any zip ties around the door latch area while you are in there. Lift each door clear and set it somewhere padded.
Then lift the hood off (it is just sitting on its hinges at this stage) and set it with the doors. Finally, unbolt the trunk lid from its hinges and remove it. The main body shell is still attached to the chassis — that comes off in the next step.
