Watch out

If the grease will not pump through a pivot fitting on later steps, the endplay is too tight on that side — back the locknut off slightly until grease flows freely.

The cross-shaft has a locknut at each end. Your job is to tighten each locknut just enough that the arm has no detectable end-to-end slop on the shaft, but still rotates freely up and down without binding.
Tighten gradually and check rotation between turns. The pivots may feel slightly stiff at this stage — that is normal for a fresh build. They loosen up once the car is on its wheels and the suspension cycles a few times.
