Watch out

If you plan to install the optional front sway bar later, you need a longer 1/2" x 4.00" lower bolt (it ships with the sway bar in Box 38) instead of the 3.25" bolt. Use the long bolt now so you do not have to redo this step.

0.40" + 0.50" lower spacers
0.675" upper spacers

Pass the assembled up through the opening in the upper A-arm.
At the lower end, attach the shock's lower eye to the lower control arm using a 1/2" x 3.25" bolt with a 0.40" spacer and a 0.50" spacer. Run the bolt from the FRONT of the frame toward the BACK. At the upper end, mount the shock to the LOWER set of holes in the upper bracket using 1/2" x 3.25" bolts with 0.675" spacers. The lower hole gives standard street ride height; the top hole is for a race car.
Snug everything, then torque both upper and lower mounts to 40 . Verify the spring is seated correctly in its hat and run two zip ties through the holes in the spring hat around the spring — cheap insurance against the spring unseating at full droop.
Note: if your shocks are Nickel-plated, they must mount with the body of the shock DOWN. Silver double-adjustable shocks also mount body-down, but they use the TOP holes in the upper bracket instead of the lower.
