Watch out
Under-torquing the hub nut is common because the spec is so high. A wobbly hub will eat its bearing in a few thousand miles. Use the right tool to actually reach 225-250 .

  • hub nut socket (size per kit hardware)
  • long breaker bar or torque multiplier
  • torque wrench (range up to 250 lb-ft)
  • large socket or flat-head screwdriver
  • rubber mallet

    Serious torque — use a long breaker bar or torque multiplier, not a standard ratchet.
    225-250 lb-ft (305-338 Nm)
